Best Sites for your blog are Msn Groups and Blogger. If you want all sorts of interesting features and your really good with getting around hard to understand sites without pulling your hair out try modblog.com .

If you are interested in a website based blog for cheap then follow these 4 steps:

STEP 1: Learn basic HTML. Try going to freewebmasterhelp.com Or just play with the template form.

STEP 2: WEB HOST. P4host.com for $4 a month. or, Textdrive.com for $12 a month.

STEP 3. DOMAIN NAME: you can get a domain name from: PLANETDOMAIN.com for $13 dollar a year (.com) popsci says they have good tools. I also like (yahoo.com) and (brinkster). Be careful when going to brinkster dont get any of they're web hosting. they dont work and they cheat you. (when you cancel they keep your money anyway instead of giving it back to you like they say.)

STEP 4. CONTENT SOFTWARE: try (www.movabletype.com) , (textpattern.com) and , (wordpress.com).
